Wistfully, our time in Little Coxwell came to an end. We had a great time in this lovely little village for two weeks, taking care of Frida the cat while her parents were in Spain, exploring the surrounding area, and connecting with our friends Melissa and Jim before and after their trip. It was great, and we are so thankful to have been invited to live in their house and trusted with their furry baby!

As we packed up to leave, Frida jumped into a plastic box we were taking and defied us to leave! But, she got distracted by a bird or bug or piece of string or lint …cats are fickle creatures! She took the time to look out the window as we said our farewells so we have to give her some credit.

Part of the enjoyment of the village was the time of year we were there. Springtime is an explosion of blooming, and we drank it all in.

We’ll miss the countryside, the animals in the fields and the gentle rhythm of small town life.
