It’s about 55 miles from Nevers to Bourbon-Lancy, and the majority is on canal paths. It’s relaxing and easy to pedal along, but we also enjoyed getting off track and going cross country up actual hills! We took one wrong turn (well, maybe 2) but all was good.
Despite there only being two pictures of the town of Decize, it was really a cool place and this post is reminder to us and anyone else to visit. We had a coffee and admired the town from our seat and went on our way. While we have a long time by US standards, it all goes too quickly! Many towns in France warrant a week or two to enjoy, and this is one.
